All my life I've been quite an active person, I played semi professional football and coached a children's team and enjoyed sports in general.

Circumstances in my life meant that I ended up moving away and leaving sport but not the appetite to be a sportsman. Bit by bit, I started putting on kilos without even really noticing and when I finally did realise the weigth gain, I was at 136kg! I didn’t recognise the person in the mirror. Walking became an effort and I found myself out of breath if I wanted to do anything more strenuous. My knees started to hurt and the most worrying of all; my health started to deteriorate in a rapid way. At only 29 years old, I was put on cholesterol medication FOR LIFE and I hadn’t even reached 30! This is was the final straw and I started to realise the damage I was doing to my body.

I returned to my home town and by chance (or not), I learned of CWP via a study in the University of Navarra on obesity and high glucose levels in the blood. I was not able to participate but thanks to this, I did get to learn about the diet. Laia started to help me and bit by bit and step by step the kilos started to drop off and now here I am! My cholesterol is now at a normal level, I don’t get as tired, my knees don’t hurt and I have started to play sports again, I can’t tell you how much I've missed it.

Thanks to CWP, I have my life back and the best of all, I have learned how to maintain my weight by understanding food and above all what my body requires.
